This project consists of a flyer and poster design situated for the Laneway Festival. Since the music festival is aimed towards a young-adult audience with an interest in mainstream, EDM and indie artists, the artefact utilises a custom snake fold to capture the audience’s interest at a glance. Considering that the artefact will be situated in flyer stands or as a poster on the wall, the graphics must have a unique texture to them, hence the use of riso printing in blue and fluorescent pink, with hints of purple. The artefact is character-heavy with ‘quirky’ designs to emulate the festival’s core values of connecting and constructing a community through music.
